Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will develop south of the State during the remainder of
Monday and on Wednesday, before a trough develops inland from the Pilbara and
Kimberley coasts on Thursday and moves east on Friday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will develop near the south coast during the remainder of Monday and on
Wednesday, before a weak cold front brushes southwestern parts on Thursday. A
new ridge develops over southern parts on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 11 September
Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 12 September
Showers near the west coast south of Lancelin and near the south coast west of
Albany.
Forecast for Thursday 13 September
Showers near the SW Capes, extending to southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to
Israelite Bay by evening. Light falls anticipated.
Forecast for Friday 14 September
Showers near the SW Capes and along the south coast and Eucla coast.
Forecast for Saturday 15 September
Showers near the Eucla coast. Gusty Southeasterly winds through the interior,
reaching the Pilbara during the day.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
