Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge is over the south of the State on Sunday,
resulting in fresh and gusty east to southeasterly winds. A new trough will
develop over the Pilbara on Sunday afternoon, then move east during Monday and
Tuesday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern WA. A weak low pressure trough
will begin to develop along the west coast during Sunday, and move east as a
weak cold front brushes the southwest of the State during the evening. A ridge
of high pressure develops rapidly along the south coast in wake of the front on
Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 15 September
Mostly clear.

Forecast for Sunday 16 September
Showers developing southwest of Busselton to Walpole during the morning,
extending through areas southwest of a line from Bunbury to Bremer Bay during
the afternoon and evening. Areas of morning frost over southern inland parts of
the State.

Forecast for Monday 17 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division. Mornings showers
near the west coast between Geraldton and Lancelin. Afternoon and evening
showers and thunderstorms over southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 18 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, contracting to the
south coast in the evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the South
Interior. Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division and the adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 19 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla
coast, mostly clearing in the evening.
