Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak surface trough lies over the southern Kimberley. A ridge of high
pressure will build over southern parts of the State with another trough
developing near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts by Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front move will move through the South West Land Division during
Thursday and Friday. A ridge will develop over the south of the State during
Saturday ahead of a stronger cold front reaching the west coast on Monday
morning.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 5 September
Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Esperance and along the south coast,
contracting to coastal areas by evening. Small hail possible near the south
coast.

Forecast for Thursday 6 September
Showers along the south coast, contracting to areas west of Bremer Bay by late
afternoon. Showers also along the west coast south of Geraldton, extending
inland west of a line Lancelin to Bremer Bay during the day.

Forecast for Friday 7 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay,
contracting to coastal parts in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 8 September
Showers in coastal areas between Perth and Israelite Bay, extending inland west
of a line Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Bremer Bay during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 9 September
Showers about the Southwest Capes, extending southwest of a line Mandurah to
Walpole by evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
