Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A weak surface trough lies over the southern Kimberley. A ridge of high
pressure will build over southern parts of the State on Wednesday with another
trough developing near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts by Thursday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front move will move through the South West Land Division during this
evening and on Wednesday morning. A high pressure ridge will then develop over
the south of the State during Wednesday with another weak front moving through
southern parts Thursday evening and during Friday. Another ridge will develop
over the south of the State during Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 4 September
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Israelite Bay. A chance of a squally
thunderstorm and small hail along the south coast west of Albany.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 September
Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Kalgoorlie to Eyre, with mostly light
falls inland. A chance of a squally thunderstorm near the south coast during
the early morning. Small hail possible over southern parts. Showers contracting
to coastal parts in the evening. Early thunderstorms also possible over the far
eastern Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 6 September
Showers along the southern and Eucla coasts, contracting to areas west of
Albany by late afternoon. Showers also possible over areas southwest of a line
from Lancelin to Bremer Bay, mostly during the middle of the day.

Forecast for Friday 7 September
Showers southwest off a line from Geraldton to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay,
contracting to west coastal parts south of Jurien Bay in the evening.

Forecast for Saturday 8 September
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany, contracting to areas
south of Perth in the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
