Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure will lie near the Pilbara and west Kimberley coasts
for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move through the southwest of WA during Thursday and across
the southeast on Friday. A ridge of high pressure will develop behind the front
on Friday and move off the south coast over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 30 May
Evening thunderstorm possible in the southeast Pilbara and the far northeast
Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 31 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms extending through all but the far eastern
parts of the South West Land Division during the day. Most of the rainfall will
be near the west coast, with only light falls inland. Showers and thunderstorms
over the inland Pilbara, Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, Eucla and west Interior.

Forecast for Friday 1 June
Showers and the chance of thunderstorms through the inland Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior and the Eucla. Morning showers along the
west coast south of Denham. Showers along the south coast. Showers clearing the
eastern parts of the South West Land Division during the afternoon with the
chance of a thunderstorm over eastern parts of the South East Coastal district
in the morning.

Forecast for Saturday 2 June
Showers and the chance of a morning thunderstorm over the southeast Goldfields
and the Eucla.

Forecast for Sunday 3 June
Showers near the Eucla coast. Cloud increasing over the northwest of the State
though no significant rainfall expected.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
