Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will strengthen over southern parts of the State
during the next few days, resulting in fresh and gusty easterly winds over the
north of the State through until Friday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge of high pressure will develop over the south of the state over the
next few days. A weak cold front will move over the southwest of the State
during Friday

Forecast for the rest of Monday 9 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, easing in the evening. Showers
near the south coast and over the Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 10 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, mostly near the northwest coast.
Showers possible near the Eucla coast, mostly during the morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 11 May
Showers and thunderstorms over northwestern coastal parts of the Kimberley in
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Thursday 12 May
Partly cloudy in the southwest, sunny over remaining parts.

Forecast for Friday 13 May
Showers developing over the southwest Capes, extending to south of a line
Mandurah to Albany in the evening. Possible showers over the northwest Central
west district and adjacent far southwest Gascoyne in the afternoon and evening

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
