Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough across the Kimberley and Pilbara will persist for the next few days.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will reach the southwest Capes around midnight Friday and move
quickly across the south of the State during Saturday. From Sunday a ridge of
high pressure will lie near the south coast.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 May
Showers near the west coast south of Mandurah, increasing about the Capes
around midnight with the chance of thunderstorms and gusty winds. Cloudy with
showers over the north east Gascoyne and Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 28 May
A band of widespread showers and possible thunderstorms moving across areas
southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay by sunrise with showers
reaching remaining parts southwest of a line from Shark Bay to Eucla by early
afternoon. Gusty winds in the early morning southwest of a line Bunbury to
Albany. Showers contracting to mainly southern coastal parts by evening.
Showers possible over the northeast Gascoyne, Interior and northern Goldfields.
Forecast for Sunday 29 May
Showers near the south coast and west coast south of Shark Bay. Showers
extending inland southwest of a line Shark Bay to Eucla for a period during the
day. Showers over the Interior.
Forecast for Monday 30 May
Showers possible in the north and east Kimberley and in the Interior. The
chance of thunderstorms in the eastern Interior. Showers near the south coast
and also possible over inland areas southwest of a line Geraldton to Eucla for
a period during the day.
Forecast for Tuesday 31 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms in the far east Kimberley and eastern
Interior. Showers near the Eucla coast and also near the southwest Capes.
