Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough across the Kimberley and Pilbara will persist for the next few days
with a branch extending into central parts of the State from Tuesday.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is weakening through central parts of the State this evening. From
Sunday a ridge of high pressure will lie near the south coast. By Tuesday a
trough will deepen through central parts of the State with a low pressure
system developing over the north of the Goldfields later in the day.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 May
A weakening front extends from the Midwest to the Eucla with a band of showers
gradually moving to the east this evening. Showers over the South West Land
Division contracting to the coast this evening. Showers also extending from the
east Pilbara to the Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 29 May
Showers near the south coast and west coast south of Shark Bay. Showers
extending inland southwest of a line Shark Bay to Eucla for a period during the
day. Showers over the Interior.
Forecast for Monday 30 May
Showers possible in the north and east Kimberley and in the Interior. The
chance of thunderstorms in the eastern Interior. Showers near the south coast
extending to adjacent inland parts for a period during the day.
Forecast for Tuesday 31 May
Showers and possible thunderstorms in the far east Kimberley and eastern
Interior. Showers near southwest Capes.
Forecast for Wednesday 1 June
Clearing showers possible near the southwest Capes. Shower and thunderstorm
activity increasing through the south Interior and Goldfields extending into
the Eucla and eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal district in the afternoon
and evening.
