Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the North Interior towards the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move across southeastern parts of the State during Tuesday,
as a ridge of high pressure develops near the south coast in the wake of the
front. On Wednesday and Thursday a high pressure system will move south of the
State.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 1 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the southern
Goldfields, with small hail possible. Possible thunderstorms about southern
coastal parts east of Esperance, contracting eastwards during the day. Showers
near the west coast south of Shark Bay, clearing by early afternoon. Showers
and thunderstorms over the southeast Interior and adjacent Eucla, clearing
early morning.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 September
Showers over the Eucla and along the south coast, extending to adjacent inland
parts for a period during the day. Areas of morning frost over inland parts of
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 3 September
Showers about the south coast east of Esperance.

Forecast for Friday 4 September
Showers developing about the SW Capes during the morning, extending to areas
southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Hopetoun during the afternoon and evening.
Thunderstorms possible southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
