Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern parts of the State, and is
expected to direct a moderate to fresh easterly flow through the forecast
period.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies along the south coast with a broad low pressure
system well to the west of Perth. A weak cold front will reach the southwest of
the State late on Thursday before a new ridge develops from the west on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 1 July
Light showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay, mostly afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Thursday 2 July
Light showers possible over the South West Land Division, the southern Gascoyne
and western Goldfields. Showers increasing in the afternoon and evening in the
Lower West and South West districts with possible thunderstorms near the coast
in the South West district in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Friday 3 July
Light morning showers near the coast in the Lower West and South West
districts. Showers over southeastern parts of the South West Land Division and
adjacent Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 4 July
Showers near the south coast west of Israelite Bay extending to inland adjacent
areas for a period during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
