Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara and northern Gascoyne and extends over inland
parts of the Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State with a surface trough
deepening near the west coast. The trough will move east later on Thursday as
another ridge develops over the south west corner of the State, extending
further east along the south coast during Friday and Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields and far northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Light morning showers near southern coastal parts between Walpole and
Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and northern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, inland Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers
developing along the western south coast, extending east during the afternoon
and evening.

Forecast for Saturday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Early thunderstorms possible over the Eucla.
Showers near the south coast east of Albany, mostly morning.

Forecast for Sunday 4 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and far northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Early thunderstorms possible over the Eucla. Showers near the south
coast east of Albany, mostly morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
