Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara and northern Gascoyne and extends over inland
parts of the Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies near the west coast, moving inland during Sunday as a weak front
approaches from the southwest. The front moves through the southwest parts
Monday afternoon and evening. A new ridge develops over southern parts from
Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 24 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, inland Pilbara, Gascoyne and
northern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers across the northern
Goldfields, easing.

Forecast for Sunday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and far northern Interior, inland
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and throughout the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Monday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, northern Interior, Gascoyne,
Goldfields and South West Land Division, clearing western parts of the South
West Land Division during the morning. Showers near the SW Capes in the
afternoon, extending over coastal parts of the Lower West and South West
districts in the evening. Showers about the coastal parts of the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior and inland east
Pilbara, eastern Goldfields and western Eucla. Showers near the south coastal
parts, with the chance of early morning thunderstorms over the Eucla and
adjacent parts. Morning showers along the coastal parts of the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior and inland east
Pilbara, Gascoyne, and northern Goldfields. Showers near the south coastal
parts between Bremer bay and Israelite Bay in the morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
