Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara and northern Gascoyne and extends over inland
parts of the Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the west coast with a weak cold front approaching.
The trough moves east on Monday, with the front moving through the southwest
parts during the afternoon and evening. A new ridge develops over southern
parts from Tuesday. A new trough will develop near the west coast on Wednesday
and Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the east Kimberley and far northern Interior,
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Eucla and through inland parts of the
South West Land Division. Thunderstorms possibly severe early this evening over
parts of the Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern, with damaging winds, large
hail and heavy rain possible.

Forecast for Monday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, northern Interior, southeast
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and South West Land Division, clearing
western parts of the South West Land Division during the morning. Showers near
the SW Capes in the afternoon, extending over coastal parts of the Lower West
and South West districts in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, far east Pilbara,
eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over near southern coastal parts. Morning
showers possible along the west coast between Geraldton and Perth.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior and inland Pilbara,
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers over near southern coastal parts between Bremer bay and
Israelite Bay in the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, west and south Interior,
Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and northern and central parts of the
South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
