Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara and northern Gascoyne and extends over inland
parts of the Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving east across southern parts of the State, with a weak cold
front moving through the southwest parts this evening. A new ridge develops
over southern parts from Tuesday. A new trough will develop near the west coast
on Wednesday and Thursday, before moving inland on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, North Interior, southeast
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and eastern South West Land Division.
Thunderstorms possibly severe with damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain
which may lead to flash flooding in the afternoon and evening over the
Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division, and the western
Eucla. Showers near the SW Capes, extending over coastal parts of the Lower
West and South West districts in the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, east Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over near southern coastal
parts. Morning showers possible along the west coast between Geraldton and
Perth.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers over near southern coastal parts between Bremer Bay and
Israelite Bay in the morning.

Forecast for Thursday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and northern, central and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, north and west Interior, inland
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and central and eastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Showers developing along the western south coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
