Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara and northern Gascoyne and extends over inland
parts of the Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends along the south coast and on Wednesday a high
will form in the Bight with a new trough developing down the west coast. The
trough will begin to push east later on Thursday as another ridge develops over
the south west corner of the State, extending further east along the south
coast during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, inland east Pilbara
and adjacent far northeast Gascoyne. Showers over southern coastal parts west
of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 February
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and northern parts of the South West Land
Division. Light morning showers near southern coastal parts between Walpole and
Eyre.

Forecast for Thursday 1 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and northern, central and eastern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 2 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, north and west Interior, inland
Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, eastern Eucla and far eastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Showers developing along the western south coast.

Forecast for Saturday 3 March
Showers and thunderstorms about the Kimberley, Interior, inland Pilbara, inland
Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Showers along the south coast west of Israelite
Bay mainly in the morning.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
