Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the North Interior, inland Kimberley, and into the
Pilbara. During Wednesday a strong ridge of high pressure will develop over
central parts of the State, the surface trough will move north over the coastal
parts of the Pilbara and through the Kimberley. On Thursday a trough develops
through the Gascoyne and then moves eastwards on Friday and Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move through eastern parts of the South West Land Division
during the evening. A high pressure system will develop over the south of the
State during Wednesday and Thursday with a weak cold front expected to cross
the southwest Capes during Friday. On Saturday a stronger cold front moves over
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 September
Showers southwest of a of line Geraldton to Eyre. Thunderstorms and small hail
possible over southern parts with gusty winds. Patchy rain over the eastern
Pilbara, North Interior, and the adjacent Kimberley.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 September
Isolated areas areas of morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt and Great
Southern districts. Showers near the southern coast, over the Eucla and
Southern Goldfields, clearing the Goldfields in the morning. Small hail
possible over southern parts with gusty winds. Thunderstorms possible near the
south coast east of Bremer Bay, clearing during the afternoon. Areas of rain
over the eastern Pilbara, North Interior, and the southwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 29 September
Widespread areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division and the southwest Goldfields. Showers about the southwest Capes,
extending to southwest of a line Mandurah to Albany during the afternoon and
evening. Possible morning shower near the Eucla coast. Afternoon shower in the
north Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 30 September
Isolated areas of morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, inland Central
West and Great Southern districts. Showers extending from the southwest in the
morning to lie southwest of a line Kalbarri to Southern Cross to Esperance by
evening. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Pilbara and
northern Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 1 October
Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Eucla. Thunderstorms and small hail
possible over southern parts with gusty winds. Showers and thunderstorms over
the Kimberley, northern Pilbara and northern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
