Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A cloud band lies over the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and the Interior. The
band will drift southwards on Sunday and Monday. A strong ridge of high
pressure will develop over central parts of the state during Friday and
Saturday, producing windy conditions over most of the northern half of the
state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system south of the state will move eastwards, ahead of an
approaching strong high pressure system that will lie near the southwest corner
on Friday. The high pressure system will then move south of the state over the
weekend to lie in the Bight by Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 31 May
Showers near the south coast, through the Eucla and the Goldfields.
Thunderstorms and small hail possible in the Southeast Coastal District, the
Eucla and southern Goldfields. Some heavy falls near the eastern south coast.
Early morning frost possible over parts of the SW Land Division.
Patchy rain through the eastern Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and the Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 1 June
Showers near the south coast, with some light showers over the eastern Great
Southern, eastern Central Wheat Belt, Eucla, Goldfields, and southern Interior.
Early morning frost possible over parts of the SW Land Division.
Some rain through the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and the Interior.
Windy over the northern half of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 2 June
Light showers over the southeast of the state.
Areas of rain through the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and the Interior,
extending into the northern Gascoyne during the day.
Windy over the northern half of the state.

Forecast for Monday 3 June
Light showers near the Eucla coast.
Areas of rain through the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley, Interior, Gascoyne and
northern Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
