Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A cloud band lies over the Pilbara, far southwest Kimberley and the Interior.
The band will drift southwards on Sunday and Monday. A strong high pressure
will move south of the state over the weekend, producing windy conditions over
most of the northern half of the state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system in the eastern Bight is moving eastwards, with a strong
high pressure system near the southwest corner of the state. The high pressure
system will move south of the state over the weekend to lie in the Bight by
Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 1 June
Showers near the south coast, with generally light showers extending over the
eastern Great Southern, eastern Central Wheat Belt, Eucla, Goldfields, and
southern Interior.
Some rain through the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and the Interior.
Windy over the northern half of the state.

Forecast for Sunday 2 June
Showers near the south coast, with some areas of drizzle over the eastern Great
Southern, eastern Central Wheat Belt, Eucla, Goldfields, and southern Interior.
Areas of rain through the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and the Interior,
extending into the northern Gascoyne during the day, with some moderate to
heavy falls about the Pilbara.
Windy over the northern half of the state.

Forecast for Monday 3 June
Light showers near the Eucla coast, with some isolated showers for a period
during the day about the southeast Goldfields and southern Interior.
Areas of rain through the Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne and northern Goldfields,
with some moderate to heavy falls about the Pilbara.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 June
Areas of rain through the Pilbara, Interior, east Gascoyne, Goldfields and
Eucla, with some moderate to heavy falls about the Pilbara. Scattered showers
developing about the SW district in the afternoon and extending to adjacent
areas in the evening. Possible thunderstorms about the SW district in the
afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
