Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight over the next few days, with a trough
developing near the west coast on Saturday and Sunday. Expect a fresh easterly
flow over northern districts for the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system in the Bight over the next few days, with a trough
developing near the west coast on Saturday and Sunday. A middle level
disturbance will affect western parts of the state on Monday, as a cold front
approaches the southwest corner. On Tuesday the cold front will move into the
Bight and weaken, while a ridge of high pressure will develop near the SW
corner in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 May
Clear through most the state.

Forecast for Saturday 25 May
Isolated showers possible over the western and southern Pilbara, western and
northern Gascoyne. Showers possible about the Central West during the afternoon
and evening.

Forecast for Sunday 26 May
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the southwest Pilbara, and the far
northwest Gascoyne. Isolated showers extending through the remainder of the
Gascoyne, the southern Pilbara, northern Goldfields, and western Interior.
Isolated showers possible over the Southeast Coastal district and southern
Goldfields, as well as west coastal parts of the SW Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 27 May
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the southern half of the Pilbara,
Gascoyne, and western Interior. Isolated showers over western parts of the SW
Land Division, extending into central parts and the adjacent Goldfields during
the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms possible near the SW corner during the
evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 May
Showers over the southwest half of the state. Thunderstorms possible in the SW
district and South Coastal during the morning. Isolated thunderstorms through
the Gascoyne, western Pilbara, northern Goldfields, and southern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
