Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system over the southeast of the continent is moving slowly
east as a cold front nears the southwest of the state.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will weaken over the southwest of the state during Tue3sday
morning before a weak ridge develops in the wake of the front. A second cold
front expected over the SW Capes late Wednesday. A strong high pressure system
then moves south of the state later Thursday and during Friday and Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 27 May
Showers and thunderstorms over the Gascoyne, far western Interior and the
Goldfields. Isolated showers over most of the South West Land Division,
increasing about southwestern parts in the evening with isolated thunderstorms
as a cold front approaches.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 May
Showers, mainly light, southwest of a line Karratha to Caiguna, with some
heavier falls and thunderstorms possible early morning over western and
southern coastal parts of the SW Land Division. Showers easing over inland
parts of the SW Land Division during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 May
Showers, mainly light, southwest of a line Karratha to Caiguna, clearing inland
parts of the SW Land Division during the day.
Showers increasing with thundestorms possible about the SW Capes and adjacent
parts during the evening.

Forecast for Thursday 30 May
Showers and thunderstorms extending to most parts of the SW Land Division and
adjacent Goldfields during the day, period during the day before clearing
inland parts of the SW Land Division towards evening and easing near the west
coast. Mid level showers through central parts of the Interior, light falls
anticipated.

Forecast for Friday 31 May
Showers and thunderstorms near the eastern south coast and western Eucla.
Showers over remaining southern coastal parts of the SW Land Division and the
Eucla, and through the Goldfields and southern Interior and far eastern inland
parts of the SW Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
