Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the eastern Pilbara, and will move into the Kimberley on
Friday. A strong ride of high pressure will develop over central parts of the
state during Friday and Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will move across southern parts of the state overnight Wednesday
and during Thursday, with a pool of cold, unstable air moving along the south
coast on Thursday. A low pressure system south of the state will move
eastwards, ahead of a approaching strong high pressure system near the SW
corner on Friday. The high pressure system will then move south of the state
during Saturday and Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 29 May
Showers over the SW Land Division. Showers increasing near the SW corner in the
evening, with isolated squally thunderstorms. Shower and possible thunderstorms
over the Goldfields, Eucla, Interior and southern Gascoyne. Showers over the
Central Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 30 May
Showers throughout the SW Land Division, with thunderstorms over western and
southern parts. Cold conditions and some small hail possible over southern
parts. Showers also reaching the southern and western Gascoyne, the Goldfields,
and the western Eucla. Morning showers in the southern Interior.

Forecast for Friday 31 May
Showers along the southern coast, through the Eucla, Goldfields, Interior, and
southeast Gascoyne. Thunderstorms possible along the southern and Eucla coasts
in the morning. Morning frosts possible over southern inland parts of the SW
Land Division,

Forecast for Saturday 1 June
Mostly morning showers along the south coast, and the adjacent Great Southern,
Central Wheat Belt, Goldfields, and southern Interior. Morning frosts possible
over southern inland parts of the SW Land Division. Showers in the eastern
Pilbara.

Forecast for Sunday 2 June
Mostly morning showers along the south coast, and the adjacent Goldfields, and
southern Interior. Morning frosts possible over eastern inland parts of the SW
Land Division. Showers in the northern Pilbara, and adjacent Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Thursday.
