Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies across southern parts of the State, resulting in
a mainly easterly flow in the north.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will move across southern parts during this evening and
Friday morning. A new ridge will begin developing over the south of the State
from Friday evening, remaining over southern parts during the weekend with a
high pressure cell becoming established in the Bight early next week.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 25 May
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany, mostly later this evening.
Thunderstorms possible over the Interior.
Forecast for Friday 26 May
Showers extending during the morning to southwest of a line from Dongara to
Esperance, contracting to near southern coastal parts in the evening. Mostly
light falls inland. Thunderstorms possible over the northeast Gascoyne and
Interior.
Forecast for Saturday 27 May
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the far
southern Goldfields. Thunderstorms possible over the Interior and adjacent
northeastern Gascoyne and southeast Pilbara.
Forecast for Sunday 28 May
Showers over southern coastal districts. Thunderstorms possible over the
Interior, northeastern Gascoyne and southeast Pilbara.
Forecast for Monday 29 May
Showers near the south coast. Thunderstorms possible over the Interior,
clearing during the morning. A cold morning in southern inland parts with areas
of frost.
