for the period until midnight WST Tuesday 4 September 2018.

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will lie through central and southern parts of the
State with generally southeasterly winds through the Pilbara. A weak surface
trough develops over the Pilbara and western Kimberley on Saturday and Sunday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the State. A weak front
will brush the south coast on Saturday. A trough will develop near the west
coast on Sunday and move eastwards during the day. A cold front will reach the
SW Capes during Monday evening. The cold front will move through the South West
Land Division during Tuesday, and then another stronger cold front will reach
the South West District in the evening.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 31 August
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, and near the Eucla
coast.

Forecast for Saturday 1 September
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and near the Eucla
coast. Light showers possible over remaining areas south of Jurien Bay to
Southern Cross to Forrest, clearing in the evening.

Forecast for Sunday 2 September
Showers near the south coast east of Esperance and along the Eucla coast,
clearing by the evening. Showers near the SW Capes.

Forecast for Monday 3 September
Showers developing along the west coast south of Perth during the morning,
extending through areas southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany during
the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 September
Showers extending through most the South West Land Division and into the
adjacent SW Goldfields during the morning and afternoon. Showers contracting to
areas southwest of a line Kalbarri to Albany by the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
