Western Australia Forecast

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Generally a moderate easterly flow over Northern parts becoming fresh and gusty
over the weekend with a ridge strengthening over the southern parts of the
State.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system moves over western parts on Friday, and becomes
established in the Bight during Saturday. During Sunday a cold front will
approach the southwest corner of the State and will move across southern parts
during Monday before a second cold front approaches the southwest corner later
Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 June
Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast.

Forecast for Saturday 30 June
Showers possible near the south coast and over the South Coastal and South West
districts, mainly about the Capes.

Forecast for Sunday 1 July
Showers possible over the South West district, mainly about the Capes.

Forecast for Monday 2 July
Showers, areas of rain and gusty winds over the South West district, extending
to southwest of a line Perth to Albany by late morning and Geraldton to
Merredin to Esperance by evening. Heavy falls possible.

Forecast for Tuesday 3 July
Areas of rain southwest of a line Exmouth to Israelite Bay extending east over
the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla by the evening. Tending to showers during
the afternoon over the South West Land Division and contracting to the coast by
the evening.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
