Western Australia Forecast

for the period until midnight WST Monday 2 July 2018.

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
Generally a moderate easterly flow over Northern parts becoming fresh and gusty
over the weekend with a ridge strengthening over the southern parts of the
State.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
The remains of a cold front will clear southeastern parts of the State this
evening. A high pressure system moves over western parts in the wake of the
cold front before becoming established in the Bight during Saturday. During
Sunday a cold front will approach the southwest corner of the State and will
move over during Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 June
Showers over southern coastal parts of the South West Land Division and over
the Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 29 June
Showers near the south coast and Eucla coast. Light showers extending through
the remaining Eucla and into the southern Great Southern, southeast Goldfields
and southern Interior for a period during the day. Light falls anticipated.

Forecast for Saturday 30 June
Showers possible over the South West district, mainly about the Capes.

Forecast for Sunday 1 July
Showers possible over the South West district, mainly about the Capes.

Forecast for Monday 2 July
Showers and gusty winds over the South West district, extending to southwest of
a line Geraldton to Merredin to Esperance by evening. Moderate falls possible.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
