Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. Fresh and gusty
easterly winds over most northern parts until Thursday, particularly along the
Pilbara coast and Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southern parts of the State extends from a high pressure system in
the Bight and will start to weaken from Tuesday as the high moves east. A cold
front will approach the southwest later Tuesday before moving through the South
West Land Division during Wednesday and southeast parts of the state on
Thursday. A high pressure system moves over western parts in the wake of the
cold front on Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 25 June
Showers about the Eucla and South Interior, contracting to the coastal Eucla
this evening and clearing tonight. Showers developing about western parts of
the South West district this afternoon.

Forecast for Tuesday 26 June
Showers over South West district extending to southwest of a line Perth to
Albany by late evening. Possible thunderstorms about the South West district in
the evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 June
Showers southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Ravensthorpe, extending east to
southwest of a line Kalbarri to Eyre by evening. Moderate falls over
southwestern parts.

Forecast for Thursday 28 June
Showers about coastal, northern and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, contracting to southern coastal and northern coastal parts by
evening. Showers about the southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla contracting
eastwards during the day.

Forecast for Friday 29 June
Showers abut southern coastal parts and the Eucla, extending inland into the
Goldfields and southeast Great Southern for a period during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
