Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies to the south of the State. Fresh and gusty
easterly winds over most northern parts will ease a little after Thursday as
the ridge moves away to the east.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front approaches the southwest this evening before moving slowly through
the South West Land Division during Wednesday and southeast parts of the state
on Thursday. A high pressure system moves over western parts in the wake of the
cold front on Thursday and Friday, before becoming established in the Bight on
Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 26 June
Showers southwest of a line from Mandurah to Albany. Possible thunderstorms
about the South West district.

Forecast for Wednesday 27 June
Showers and areas of rain southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Ravensthorpe,
extending east to southwest of a line Kalbarri to Eyre by evening. Moderate to
heavy falls over the Lower West and adjacent parts. Early thunderstorms
possible in the southwest.

Forecast for Thursday 28 June
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Showers over northern and eastern
parts of the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, the Goldfields, far
southern Interior and remaining Eucla, contracting east during the day.

Forecast for Friday 29 June
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Light showers extending through the
remaining Eucla and into the southeast Goldfields and southern Interior for a
period during the day.

Forecast for Saturday 30 June
Showers possible near the southern and Eucla coasts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
