Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the central Kimberley towards the Pilbara coast. On
Monday and Tuesday the trough will move east through the Pilbara and into the
North Interior.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A deep trough off the west coast will move inland during Monday ahead of an
approaching cold front. The trough will then move east through the Gascoyne,
Goldfields and Eucla during Tuesday, as a ridge of high pressure pushes over
southern parts of the State in its wake and the front brushes along the south
coast.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 29 April
Showers and thunderstorms through the Interior and east Pilbara, extending into
western parts of the Kimberley in the afternoon.

Forecast for Monday 30 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior and the west Kimberley coast in the
afternoon and evening. Showers developing about the southwest Capes in the
early afternoon and extending to southwest of a line Yanchep to Bridgetown to
Albany by late evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 May
Mostly morning showers near the west coast, returning south of Jurien Bay late
evening. Showers over southern coastal districts and adjacent parts of the
Great Southern and possibly the far southern Goldfields, reaching the western
Eucla late evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 2 May
Showers near the west coast south of Kalbarri, over the Southwest district, far
southern parts of the Great Southern district and along the south coast.
Showers and thunderstorms developing over the South East Coastal district and
the Goldfields during the morning, extending into the Eucla and South Interior
during the afternoon.

Forecast for Thursday 3 May
Showers over the southwest district, far southern parts of the Great Southern
and along the south coast and Eucla coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the
eastern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Monday.
