Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts, pushing off the
Pilbara coast for periods during the mornings.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing over southern parts of the State. A
trough lies through central parts of the state and will be move north later
Wednesday as a high pressure centre moves into the western Bight. A second
trough deepens along the west coast later Wednesday before moving east later on
Thursday as a cold front approaches from the southwest.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 23 April
Showers near coastal parts between Yanchep and Bremer Bay. Showers and
thunderstorms over the far eastern Eucla, northeast Gascoyne, and South
Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 24 April
Showers over southern coastal districts of the South West Land Division,
contracting to coastal parts between Cape Naturaliste and Esperance during the
morning. Showers and thunderstorms over the far northeast Goldfields, the
Eucla, northeast Gascoyne, and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 25 April
Showers near the south coast, clearing from the west during the day. Showers
and thunderstorms about the central Interior, northeast Gascoyne and east
Pilbara. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the far west
Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 26 April
Showers and thunderstorms about the central Interior, inland Gascoyne, Pilbara
and northern Goldfields. Isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the
far west Kimberley.

Forecast for Friday 27 April
Showers about the southwest coast, developing over southwest parts of the South
West Land Division during the day. Showers and thunderstorms about the eastern
Goldfields, South East Coastal, western Eucla and parts of the South Interior.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms about the far western Pilbara during the
afternoon.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
