Western Australia Forecast

for the period until midnight WST Tuesday 1 May 2018.

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the central Kimberley through towards the Pilbara
coast. On Monday and Tuesday the trough will move east through the Pilbara and
into the North Interior.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough will deepen off the west coast over the weekend, before moving inland
on Monday ahead of an approaching cold front. The trough will then move east
through the Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla during Tuesday, as a ridge of high
pressure pushes over southern parts of the State in its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 27 April
Showers along the south coast, with thunderstorms possible east of Esperance.
Showers and thunderstorms over the Goldfields, southern Interior and Eucla.
Showers and thunderstorms also possible in the southeast of the Pilbara and
adjacent Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 28 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne,
northern and eastern Goldfields, Interior and Eucla. Mostly morning showers and
drizzle over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the adjacent
Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 29 April
Showers and thunderstorms through the Interior, extending into western parts of
the Kimberley and eastern parts of the Pilbara in the afternoon. Morning
showers possible along the Eucla coast east of Eyre.

Forecast for Monday 30 April
Showers and thunderstorms through the Interior, western Kimberley and the
western Pilbara. Showers developing in the afternoon about the Southwest
district and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 1 May
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, and along the west
coast south of Shark Bay, mostly during the morning. Showers developing over
the Eucla and southern Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Saturday.
