Statement as of 3:45 AM CST on December 26, 2012
...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM CST this
afternoon...
* geographical area...generally along and north of a line from
Camden to Nashville to Lafayette.
* Snow accumulations...1 to locally 2 inches. In Davidson and
Sumner counties most accumulation will occur at higher
elevation locations.
* Timing...rain changing to snow between 6 am and 10 am
Wednesday. Snow is expected to end during the afternoon.
* Main impact...slick spots could form on area roadways within
the advisory.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
