Western Australia Forecast

for the period until midnight WST Wednesday 29 March 2017.

Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Pilbara and Kimberley. A small tropical low lies
well to the northwest of Broome and is not expected to develop or significantly
affect the State over the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
Rainfall easing over the Goldfields and Eucla during the remainder of Saturday
with a broad trough inland from the west coast. A weak cold front will move
across southwestern parts of the State during Sunday morning with a ridge of
high pressure developing near the south coast during Monday. Another weak cold
front will brush the south coast during Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 25 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, western Interior, far eastern parts of the South
West Land Division and over the Eucla. Rainfall easing over the Goldfields and
Eucla. Showers developing about the southwest Capes late Saturday night.

Forecast for Sunday 26 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and
Interior. Showers over mainly western and southern parts of the South West Land
Division, contracting to the south coast during the afternoon and evening.
Mainly light falls..

Forecast for Monday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, and northern Interior.
Morning showers about the south coast west of Israelite Bay, and redeveloping
about coastal parts between Augusta and Bremer Bay during the evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 March
Showers near the south coast west of Esperance. Showers and thunderstorms over
the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 March
Showers near the south coast east of Esperance and the Eucla coast. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern
Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
