Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Pilbara and Kimberley.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing south of the State, with a high pressure
system moving into the Bight on Thursday. A weak cold front will brush the
south coast Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 March
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Israelite Bay. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern
Gascoyne.
Forecast for Wednesday 29 March
Showers over the Southeast Coastal district and near the Eucla coast, clearing
during the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara,
Interior and northern Gascoyne.
Forecast for Thursday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and northern
Gascoyne.
Forecast for Friday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, western Pilbara
and western Gascoyne. Showers developing near the western south coast.
Forecast for Saturday 1 April
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. The chance of thunderstorms in the
far western Kimberley, far western Pilbara and far northwest Gascoyne.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
