Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A small tropical low lies well to the north of Port Hedland and is expected to
weaken as it moves further west. A broad trough lies over the Pilbara and
Kimberley.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies along the south coast. A weak cold front will brush the south
coast during Tuesday. The ridge strengthens in the wake of the front with a
high pressure system moving into the Bight on Thursday. A second weak cold
front will brush the south coast during Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 27 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, far northern Gascoyne
and northern Interior. Showers near the southwest coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 28 March
Showers southwest of a line Mandurah to Israelite Bay. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern Interior and northern
Gascoyne.

Forecast for Wednesday 29 March
Showers near the south coast east of Albany, contracting eastwards during the
day. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and
northern Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 30 March
Showers near the south coast east of Israelite Bay, clearing during the
morning. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northwest
Interior and the Gascoyne.

Forecast for Friday 31 March
Showers near the south coast. Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley,
western Pilbara and western Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
