...Freezing temperatures possible in parts of northeast middle
Tennessee and along the Cumberland Plateau late tonight...
Circulation around a strong surface high pressure center to our north...coupled
with tropical cyclone Sandy will drive colder air southward and into
middle Tennessee tonight. If skies should clear...temperatures could
fall to the freezing mark for a couple of hours late tonight across
parts of middle Tennessee...especially the northeast and along the
Cumberland Plateau. The steady winds will likely prevent frost
from forming...although isolated sheltered areas could see some
frost.
