Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the northern Kimberley with a ridge building to the south of
the State. The ridge will strengthen further during Wednesday and Thursday with
fresh and gusty easterly winds through northern parts. A trough will develop
near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts on Friday as the ridge contracts
eastwards, with the trough moving through central parts of the Pilbara on
Saturday.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing near the south coast with a high
pressure system moving into the Bight on Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front
will move through southern parts on Friday with another front moving over the
south of the State on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 June
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla,
mainly near the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 June
Showers near the south coast, and over the Eucla and southeast Interior,
clearing during the day. Fresh winds across the northern half of the State.
Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division, the
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern Interior and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 29 June
Showers about the southwest Capes. Fresh winds across the northern half of the
State. Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, the southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior.

Forecast for Friday 30 June
Showers developing southwest of a line from Bunbury to Albany during the
morning, extending through areas southwest of a line from Kalbarri to Esperance
during the afternoon and evening. A chance of a thunderstorm about coastal
parts between Mandurah and Albany. Fresh winds across the Kimberley. Areas of
morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division, the southern
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 1 July
Showers southwest of a line from Denham to Eucla, with a chance of a
thunderstorm over far southern parts of the South West Land Division. Areas of
morning frost over eastern parts of the Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
