Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure lies through the Pilbara and Kimberley and will push
off the Pilbara coast from Monday as a ridge of high pressure builds to the
south of the State. Fresh easterly winds extending across most northern parts
by mid week.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is developing off the south coast. On Monday and
Tuesday the ridge moves north over southern districts with a weak cold front
expected to brush the south coast late on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 24 June
Showers near the south coast with light falls extending to eastern inland parts
of the South West Land Division, the southern Goldfields and Eucla. A band of
showers through the east Gascoyne, east Pilbara, northern Goldfields and
Interior with the chance of thunderstorms.

Forecast for Sunday 25 June
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, the southern
Goldfields and Eucla, though only light falls away from the coast. Rain and the
chance of thunderstorms through the South Interior, northern Goldfields and
east Gascoyne with moderate to heavy falls possible. The chance of showers
through the eastern Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 26 June
Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division. Rain
and the chance of thunderstorms through the Interior, contracting to the east
during the day. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and
the Eucla. Showers increasing near the south coast during the afternoon and
evening with the chance of a thunderstorm.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 June
Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division and
the southwest Goldfields. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land
Division and the Eucla, mainly near the south coast. Showers in the Interior,
clearing eastwards during the day.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 June
Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division and
the southwest Goldfields. Showers near the south coast, mostly clearing during
the morning. Winds across the northern half of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
