Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the Pilbara and Kimberley and will move off the Pilbara
coast today as a ridge of high pressure builds to the south of the State. Fresh
easterly winds extending across most northern parts by mid week.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern districts with a cold front
expected to brush the south coast tonight and on Tuesday morning. A high
pressure system will move into the Bight on Wednesday and Thursday. Another
cold front will move through southern parts on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 26 June
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla.
Thunderstorms possible near the south coast between Albany and Israelite Bay.
Areas of rain through the eastern Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 June
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla,
mainly near the south coast. Early thunderstorms possible near the eastern
south coast. Areas of rain over the eastern Interior, clearing eastwards during
the day. Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, the southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 June
Showers near the south coast, and over the Eucla and southeast Interior,
clearing during the day. Fresh winds across the northern half of the State.
Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division, the
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern Interior and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Thursday 29 June
Showers about the southwest Capes. Fresh winds across the northern half of the
State. Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, the southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior.

Forecast for Friday 30 June
Showers developing southwest of a line from Bunbury to Albany during the
morning, extending through areas southwest of a line from Geraldton to
Esperance during the afternoon and evening. Fresh winds across the Kimberley.
Areas of morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land Division, the
southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and southern Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
