...Light snow possibly mixing with sleet late tonight and early
Friday morning in middle Tennessee...

An Arctic airmass will remain in place through Friday as a Gulf low
develops and spreads a band of wintry precipitation northward into
middle Tennessee late tonight and early Friday. Far southern
middle Tennessee...including the cities of Waynesboro...Lawrenceburg
and Pulaski will get a mix of light snow and sleet beginning
before daybreak...with up to one half inch of snow and sleet
accumulation possible...before changing to rain around 9 am. A mix
of light snow and sleet will continue spreading northward across
the remainder of middle Tennessee after daybreak...before changing
to rain around 10 am. Temperatures late tonight will range from
mid 20s north to near 30 south. Highs on Friday will range from
mid to upper 30s north to near 40 south.

Motorists traveling in middle Tennessee late tonight and early
Friday are urged to use caution as Road surfaces will be below
freezing temperatures...and the precipitation that falls will stick
causing slick roadways.
