...Damage near Old Hickory Lake in far southern Sumner County due
to straight-line winds...
This morning National Weather Service personnel surveyed damage in
far southern Sumner County near Old Hickory Lake. Numerous trees
were uprooted and a few were snapped. Several trees fell on homes
and vehicles in this area. The damage...which occurred between 10
and 10:05 PM on Thursday...was caused by straight line winds around
75 mph.
