...Snow showers expected Thursday afternoon and Thursday night...
...Much colder temperatures on tap...


A strong upper level system will dive down from the plains and
bring scattered to numerous snow showers beginning Thursday
afternoon and continuing Thursday night. Initially the precipitation
will begin as rain Thursday morning with temperatures in the upper
30s and lower 40s...but fall during the day into the low to
middle 30s by nightfall. Overnight lows Thursday night will be in
the upper teens to lower 20s. A few flurries are still possible
Friday morning over the northeast with highs only in the 30s.


Snowfall accumulations up to an inch possible northern middle
Tennessee and plateau.
