Another round of heavy rain is expected to move through the area
this weekend...bringing 1 to 2 inches of rain to most of middle
Tennessee by Sunday morning...with locally higher amounts. This
rainfall...on top of the already saturated ground will run off quickly
into area creeks...streams and rivers...which could result in flooding.

Residents and emergency managers should stay informed...and
listen for later statements on this potential flood event for
middle Tennessee this weekend.
