...Windy conditions across the area today...
A strong low pressure system along the East Coast will generate
strong gusty north winds over the midstate today. We expect
northerly winds to increase to 15 to 25 mph this afternoon with
gusts to 30 to 35 mph. Winds will subside around Sundown.
Drivers of high profile vehicles as well as tall Crane operators
will need to use caution due to the higher winds and gusts this
afternoon. Also boat operators on area lakes should use caution
due to the higher than normal wave action expected.
