streams across central and northwest portions of middle Tennessee...
are experiencing minor flooding of low lying locations and other
locations also prone to flooding. Some streets across this area
in low lying locations mainly may be covered with water. Some
locations could possibly experience between two and four inches of
additional rainfall across these locations through the late afternoon
hours...adding to minor flooding that is presently occurring at this time.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on
small creeks and streams...and ponding of water on country roads and
farmland along the banks of creeks and streams.
