The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for some light freezing rain or drizzle...mixed
with snow...which is in effect until noon CST Tuesday.
* Geographic area: some cities in the advisory area include
Gallatin...Nashville...Franklin...Columbia...Pulaski...Lewisburg
and Shelbyville.
* Accumulation: less than one tenth inch of freezing rain and
drizzle. Additional snow accumulation up to an inch...except 1
to 3 inches of snowfall possible near the Kentucky and Tennessee
border.
* Timing: valid through noon Tuesday.
* Impacts: hazardous driving conditions will continue due to any
freezing rain or drizzle and snow that occurs...and due to snow
covered roads...especially in the south.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
